I had a negative experience dealing with mobility matters. After being treated in a deplorable way by both the sales person and manager over a warranty claim for an alternating air mattress pump, which still has never worked satisfactorily since it was purchased a year ago, it has emerged that they have been charging my mother's home care provider for warranty repairs. When I questioned this, they tried accusing me of damaging the pump mechanism. I took pictures of the pump casing in the store, which was flawless, lest they insist that the pump has been dropped. The home care provider contact we spoke with today was surprised to find out that the invoices they had received and paid were actually for warranty repairs. They are going to investigate. After this experience, I would recommend anyone who has ever used home care funds to purchase disability equipment, to go through their expenses with their provider, to check exactly what invoices have been submitted and paid.

Have been served by staff lately : no personal hygiene ! The BO of that girl made me walk out !
Then , other staff have the courage to argue with me as the customer in front of other customers, belittling me in front of other customers .
The sales person was unprofessional and I wasn't given any opportunity to reason with her. My inquiries have been blocked off all the time ! She became angry and actually quite snippy ! Great Customer Services ! Wow !
Mobility Matters, You don't even deserve one star !
Mobility Matters in Fyshwick is going downhill for quite some time . I will from now on shop at their competitors where I am receiving respectful , FRIENDLY and professional services !

Today I desperately needed a folding walking stick + Hugo cane Tip. Gaye searched and found what
I needed. Paid over the phone and delivered within 2 hours!

This was my 5th contact with Mobility Matters over years and their name stands for how they care.

They didn't attend appointment with parts more than once. When part finally ordered service guy never showed up I had to ring them to let them know my mother caught a bus home to meet them and had been waiting an hour and a half the sad thing is she had to leave her husbands side in hospital. So apparently guy took day off. How is it the job wasn't linked to be handed on. So basically left 80 year old waiting and wouldn't have come if I didn't call them. On a positive note the replacement service guy was apologetic and thorough so good on him and shame on you to the staff that stuffed an old lady around.

We bought a shower stool in early 2015. Typically, almost as soon as the warranty expired we noticed rust appearing on the adjustable legs of the stool. Mobility Matters won't tell you this but as they are manufactured from tubular steel, and only coated on the outside, they are susceptible to rust. Of course, we complained to the owner/manager who said he would take it up with the manufacturer and get back to us. I wouldn't want to be hanging by the toenails. My advice is DON'T BUY ONE OF THESE, IT IS A DEFECTIVE AND UNSAFE PRODUCT. Once they start to rust they won't stop, and eventually it will weaken, then collapse, and the user will crash to the floor in a mangled heap. Please beware!
