Crazy expensive for what are pretty small and dark rooms. The internet speeds are straight from 1994 and their in-house tv system didn't work the whole time we were there. Not much to say good or bad on the service but all in all a pretty lacklustre showing from Peppers who I would have expected more from.

Room was good, comfortable bed and friendly staff. We were disappointed with the buffet breakfast.. we arrived at 9.30 (closes at 11) so we thought we had plenty of time to eat. Although to our surprise and disappointment the buffet was well and truely under stocked. Hot food on offer was a couple of hash browns, 3 wedges of tomatoes, and couple of spoonfuls of mushrooms. Wasn’t expecting this at a 5 start hotel ..

Reception and check in was done quickly and professionally. The room, King size bed is well appointed and clean. Room service as well as bar service for by well trained friendly staff members. Good is great the antipasto is recommended especially outdoors. I will definitely book another weekend soon

The staff was competent but appearing to be significantly understaffed. Restaurant service was awful, and decor looked to be cheap '80s. It is supposed to be art deco but I think it just looked shabby, run down, and clunky.

Location was good. Nothing to comment on service as I received minimal to no service. Couch is so old and very uncomfortable.

Conveniently located; friendly staff; light and clean rooms of a decent size; good gym.

Okay hotel. Nothing amazing. Moldy shower, stained sheets and convoluted parking situation.

Bathroom door has a solid 3cm gap, meaning zero sound isolation. You WILL be able to hear your room-mate poop.

Conversations can be heard from outside the room even when only talking at a normal inside voice.

Yeah potential to be really good.

Beautiful hotel in Canberra's trendiest suburb. My allocated room was a disappointment after my last visit. The upper storey spaces are distinctly bigger, with nicer decor & ceiling murals unique to each room. By contrast, I was given a ground floor room - plain ceiling, no balcony, tiny bathroom & DARK BROWN walls (!).

Nice location to CBD, walking distance. Rooms are nice with hot air con for winter. No free parking however, must park in paid parking on the street.

Located in the hippest part of Canberra Peppers Gallery Hotel offers beautiful rooms and bathrooms that are stylish. Restaurant options all around hotel within beautifullly appointed grounds and close to CBD, Lake Burley Griffin, cinema and Capital Hill.

Rooms are really quirky and cute. A lot of hotels can feel a bit sterile, but Peppers maintains an air of playfulness

The welcoming experience from reception was a disappointment despite to purchase the car-park we were ask to vacate the guest drop off within 20 minutes.
The passages on the ground floor have a very dark decoration, which make it a bit creepy. A better lighting would improve the ambience. Be prepared to pay for the car park, not always are space available.
The room was Ok.
