Sabayon Restaurant (Permanently Closed)

We went to Sabayon for the second time last weekend. We had the degustation. Food was ok but the service was appaling. We were seated for ONE HOUR before we were served our first course. During this time no-one even bothered to ask if we wanted to order pre-dinner drinks.
We will NEVER GO TO SABAYON AGAIN!
The staff are hopeless and act as though you're an inconvenience by simply being there.
Both times we dared go to Sabayon the service has been terrible.
DO NOT BOTHER GOING!

Quintessential pretentious restaurant: small portions with a lot of silly plate art. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. Just mediocre. Service ditto: some OK, some surly. And a 40 minute wait for dessert is rude.

Mediocre decor, poor ventilation, uncomfortable chairs; and something wrong with the lighting.

Not expensive by the flashy standards it's aspiring to, but way over-priced for what it actually delivers.
