Super Amart Fyshwick

Ordered a bedroom setting, confirmed it was all in stock, the main reason for going ahead with it. Then when no delivery details I find out that, it is not in stock. No apology, no immediate solution. Eventually a token delivery refund, great will punt that on race 1 at Melb and 2 week wait. The staff lie to get the sale and the manager backs them up. Very poor business model. Not happy and will do my best to make sure people know about it.

Very very very bad experience and I am quiet disappointed with the customer service. I never recommend Amart to any of my friends.

Quite disappointed that the Kahleesi single bed we were building from Amart snapped and we require a new piece to be couriered from Sydney which will take at least two weeks to arrive. I asked about floor stock, if we could have the one piece we need from the floor model and I was told no, no floor stock is sold. Really disappointed! The girl on the phone was nice enough, but the store policies and courier arrangement seem outdated.

In the meantime we have an extremely large bed mostly built in the middle of our Daughter's bedroom that was meant to be a birthday gift. It will now miss her birthday and we have no room in her bedroom. The pieces are so large that they are unable to be removed from her bedroom unless we take it all apart again.

I may update this review depending on the outcome and timeliness of delivery, but at the moment we are not impressed with our experience so far.

The 2 piece sofa plus chaise and office chair I bought recently seem of good quality and were a decent price. The sales personnel were friendly and helpful. Their delivery process however is completely amateur.

I was told that my order would ship from their Sydney warehouse within 7-10 days and they would contact me to arrange delivery. 2 weeks pass by and I had to talk to 3 different staff members over the course of another 2 weeks (a month total) before someone looked close enough to discover that the sofa was in fact sitting in the Canberra warehouse ready for delivery, but they had shipped 1 of the wrong pieces. They assured me that it would be corrected and ready by the following Monday and that they would call ahead to confirm a delivery time. Monday morning passes with no contact. I call at noon and am told "Oh, delivery is scheduled for today between 1-5 PM. No one told you?" Terrible communication between the store, warehouse, and customer in this instance.

I'm satisfied with the product, but because of the delivery experience I would not shop here again and I would not recommend to others.

Went in to by some items to furnish a small new apartment and found lounge, coffee tables, computer desk etc all very modern, smart looking and at what I considered very reasonable quality for the very inexpensive prices! The staff were excellent, including at the pick-up depot. We had one small issue we noticed when we got home (20% discount hadn't been applied to one item) contacted the store and the issue was very pleasantly resolved in 30 seconds :) I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anybody on a budget that is still seeking a quality feel...

I recently had an issue,that I considered quite serious,investigated and resolved quickly by the management at the Fyshwick store.The actions and response of the manager was appreciated and timely.
I'd shop here again

Poor quality. Pay a little more where they have quality control.

Very professional the staff i had dealings with went out of their way to assist you in any way. Would recommend this store.
