Have been a 99 club member for several years, the price on two GP4000S2 tyres over the counter is as good as online and infinitely faster. I'll keep going back to my LBS.

I've been using these guys nearly 2 years. I prefer to do things myself or buy parts from Gumtree/ebay for bargains... But whenever I'm in a jam these guys pay close attention, prompt, are friendly, and get the job done. Only had one problem a year ago but they fixed it up quick and for free.

Very good customer service... they have always looked after me and have never had any hassle returning things when necessary... pricing is competitive and yeah I have found them to be a much better store than other bike shops I have been to in the vicinity!

This is our second experience at 99 bikes and the service has been spot on. Jervis was outstanding with his knowledge and experience to help us with the right bike for our granddaughter. Highly recommended.

Sorted the family out with new bikes and was able to take everything for a spin as long as i needed for testing. Overall great service, shout out to Jarvis, explained all the options, gave us a good deal. Felt looked after. Highly recommended

We had a great experience recently, buying our girls' second bikes from this store. Being a birthday present, the staff went out of their way to ensure the bikes were ready for the big day, even to the extent of working on their day off to locate the right model (in box) from another store, and have it shipped and assembled and ready for collection by the stipulated time. I also agree with other comments in that the staff provide expert advice and show respect for customers, regardless of your budget, and without the snobbery you sometimes find from bike shops.

Wanted a Missy Goose bike for granddaughter's 5th birthday. Her second bike from 99 Bikes. Staff were so helpful. Were happy to remove the trainer wheels for me & just take them separately. Bike was ready when they said it would be. Told any problems just come back. Excellent service from Artarmon store.

i found the staff really helpful. They were pretty quick at getting me going on the new bike (which i'm enjoying), and it was priced pretty great too... it used to be the best deals were online (and maybe they still are for some things), but i couldn't find a better price than they offered... so i'm really pleased with that!

I didn't buy my bike from here but they do my servicing. Friendly, efficient, good workpeopleship. Recommended. Just picked my bike up today. It looks like new, runs so smoothly, and almost smiled at me.

The team at Artarmon are always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The sale prices are competitive with the web giants. The late weekday opening hours make popping in after work possible, frees up the weekend for riding!

Fantastic to have such a good bike shop on the beaches! I took my bike in for a service due to a grinding in the pedals which only occurred after 20mins of riding. It was still happening after the service, and after taking it back and explaining what was going on they worked out what was causing it (heat expanding a joint) and fixed it up straight away with no extra charge. Mark the Technician is a deadset legend, I couldn't be happier!

99 Bikes gave me a better price for a Tacx trainer than the distributor's 'wholesale' price. The staff, Stuart and Mark also helped when I had problems with it and went way and above the normal call of service. Excellent staff and great prices. Very helpful, lovely guys who know their stuff and are all pretty committed cyclists. Highly recommend them.

Mine was a simple purchase of back and front bike lights. I attended the Brookvale store. The prices were good - even better because I am a member - and the staff friendly and attentive. Easy transaction. Well done 99Bikes!!

Great friendly service, was flying overseas and needed a bike box for packing (the way to go!). The guys not only supplied a box but all the plastic clips and covers to help protect my bike - worked a treat! (Even if my race was cancelled due to 100Km/h winds!)

Went to 99 Bikes to look at various options for touring with a tandem. They were very friendly, helpful and willing to go the extra mile to get stuff they didn't have in stock. The prices are excellent, the shop is in a convenient location too. Very enjoyable experience, we will be back.

Pretty good shop, unfortunately they dropped my bike and dented the top tube of my CAAD 10. They fixed the issue I came in with however.

This is a great shop! This the shop where I bought my dual suspension bike. I do ask a fair few questions to be quite honest, however these guys really know their stuff! I'm happy with customer service here. I would recommend anyone looking to get their bikes serviced or purchases to get it HERE. I've also had my fathers bike and family friends bike purchased here. Their payment options allows you to purchase bikes that really catch your eye the moment you walk into the shop. It's great to have bikes you can get off the shelf on the day tuned and adjusted to you.

Great service provided by Sean despite knowing that I was not looking to buy initially. Purchased a bike, gear and accessories later from a different staff member; service was still very good (albeit some minor upselling), with staff helping to install cleats and accessories.

Head mechanic demonstrated a high depth of knowledge during the check-up; he fixed the gear-changing issues that I had brought the bike in for both times (faulty build by another store mechanic was a suggested cause), explained the steps he took, and recommended resources for DIY maintenance.

Staff spend time with you to get the outcomes you are after,?and offer good advice

Requested an exchange and partial refund for an accessory, was told no monetary refund allowed as "these are the rules" (since I purchased from another store, but had the same transaction successfully done at the Alexandria store) but nowhere are these rules shown on the website or anywhere. Then when I wanted to purchase something else, I was curtly informed that this is an online product only despite the store at Artarmon being able to do it for me INSTORE when I was given the right information from 99 Bikes. The end result is after spending thousands of dollars with 99 Bikes, I end up with subsequent complete waste of time, misinformation and poor customer service shown. What's the point of joining the 99 Bikes club?

I have visited the shop a few times and bought a couple of items. These guys are fantastic. Always take the time to help me find the right product. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

So nice to take the trouble to walk into a shop and be completely ignored. Not even greeted or acknowledged, simply ignored. And then to have the next person who walks in through the door, greeted and acknowledged and served with a smile. They can't say they were busy, the shop was virtually empty. Guarantee I will not be buying a damn thing from you again! You hurt my feelings and you suck!
My resistance to online shopping is over!! Whoohoo!

I got a new bike from them that in the first 3 months I had to take it to service around 4 times and they never solved the problems! I wouldn't recomend this place for service or for buying a new bike.

So happy with service i received from BRAD / mechanic, came in with repairs on my son's bike, he made it look so simple and easy also ordered new wheels and kept in touch on the progress,

Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful staff and efficient service. I've bought accessories and had a couple of repairs done by the guys and, for the last one, I wasn't charged - due to it being a quick-fix. They also offer discounts for products and services if you sign up with them.

I bought a bike for my child online for collection in store, they where supposed to get in contact within 24hrs. 6 days later I email customer service and they don't know what's happened?? They chase it up, by 9 days still no call. So I ring customer service, they say the Bondi store have the bike in stock and they can't explain what's going on, they say they will chase it up for me. That afternoon I get a call to say there building the bike that evening and that I can collect it the next day, today. I drive to Bondi, pay for parking and go in store at 12:45 and the bike still isn't built. They say it's next to be built and to come back later. What a waste of my time and $$. I wouldn't recommend the Bondi Junction 99 Bikes store.

Poor service overall. Obviously constantly understaffed. Bike not ready on time even after waiting a week and booking service. The staff are very competent but there are far too few of them. Never answer their phone. Had to wait for over an hour past the estimated time for them to be finished servicing my bike.

Incredibly friendly and informative customer service. They were very upfront about costs and gave me lots of options and great advice. My bike feels as good as new!

Not often you leave a place and feel the need to leave a positive review. I went for the 2nd time yesterday where I got served as I walked in the door, shown the best value for money to what we needed (Not just shown the most expensive). Even with other customers I always felt attended. I didn't feel shy to ask a question not being a lycra level rider and also the wheel I was getting fixed all on the spot, the workshop guys also did adjustments and re-oiled to go the extra mile at no extra cost. Recommend this place to for good service!

I am just getting back into riding at the fun level (nothing serious). Everyone I dealt with at the Alexandria store was super approachable and helpful. Not too mention patient as I test rode quite a few options. The bike was ordered in amd put together super quickly.

My dad wanted to get a quick fix for his bike, the guys at 99 bikes were so helpful, immediately knew I was looking for. He even offered the part complimentary. Great experience, super helpful. I would recommend anyone that needs help with their bike to come see these guys at 99 bikes.

Got to be honest. Out of most other bike stores the customer service is consistent here and the guys are approachable. The staff are always trying their best to answer your questions and give information they know by personal experience or by finding out through other more experienced staff. Feedback is always positive with staff providing the best possible recommendations for varying questions that may be asked.

Mid way through a ride from chatswood to Auburn when both of my tires punctured. The man from NZ was super helpful, changing both inner tubes on a Sunday afternoon on the spot! He was a life saver. 99 bikes always provides great service and sell top quality bikes. If in the area this shop will look after all riding needs.

This branch has probably been at this location for many years, but I only noticed it recently. Not many bikes going in or out, mostly cars. It is very conveniently located and has a huge selection of bikes and staff are very knowledgable about bikes.

Bought my first bike here and I am truly happy with the customer service! I purchased it online and had the bike put together and ready to pick up on the SAME day. The staff who assisted us was very accomodating, he was patient and guided us all throughout the process, he even helped us fit the bike in our tiny car LOL. I don't really post online feedbacks but had to make an exception for this. Highly recommended. 😊

Great place for cyclists! The employees are very knowledgeable and always willing to help and offer suggestions when needed. The prices are also not bad considering it's retail.

They definitely have more than 99 bikes and so much more. The staff is so helpful that I didn't need to look for attention and they pointed me in the right direction. I would have given 5 stars but they lacked a place to leave my bike...my primary mode of transportation.

I just bought a bike today, a bike lock and some lights. I can absolutely say that these guys are extremely helpful, courteous and most of all efficient and knowledgeable. Usually it takes a day or two to build a bike for me but they did it in 20 minutes. Im new to the area and they have offered me loads of helpful advice. Great customer service, love the atmosphere, its amazing. Keep it up 😊

These guys are a rip off. Took my bike there to have top service done and rear derailleur cable installed. Got my bike back to be told that wheel hub bearings hadn't been serviced as they didn't have the tool for mavic wheels.
Gave me $50 off which would have been OK if the service had been done. All they did was install derailleur cable, cut cables (way too short) that I had already installed and adjusted gears. Didnt even lube the chain.
Absolutely pathetic $200 for that.
I am in the market for a new bike but will DEFINITELY not be from here.
AVOID AT ALL COST!!!

I have been getting my bike serviced through 99 Stanmore for a while now. Sam the mechanic is brilliant! Great customer service, always helpful and always does a great job.

I don't buy a lot of bike gear but 99 bikes is my go to for bike equipment. I am always more that impressed with their bike servicing. I took my MB in for a service last Friday afternoon and it was done by the next morning. And it wasn't a quicky job. It was thorough and the bike was cleaned from paint job to gear cogs. I also got great feed back and advice from the mechanic. I always find that the staff are helpful without being sales oriented. My bike is clean and running perfect thanks to the 99bike crew. Top notch.

There is a lot to deal with, you are stumbling over the boxes and to a great deal of disaster your bicycle is standing there crestfallen with…anxious to be left behind. But…no way of me thinking of leaving my iron mate behind.

They set me up with a really nice bike suited to my needs however they gave me a bike that just wasn't ready. It had a couple of paint chips in it which I ignored but then the gears were out of whack so I had go take it back. When I took it back they were super lovely and the mechanic fixed the gears and the brakes for no charge.

Overall a great experience but wish they gave me a bike with no issues to start off with.

Literally one of the best bike shops in Sydney. Amazing prices and awesome staff. The mechanics are awesome as well. Highly recommend this place.

I haven't bought a bicycle in years so I needed a lot of assistance in finding the right bike for me. The store has a great range of bikes and no question was left unanswered. Cody was excellent and very patient. I got a great deal and now I have a great bike. Very happy.

I just wanted to let you know how impressed I am with Andy your bike mechanic. I have come in a few times and he has always been really helpful, nothing has ever been to much for him and he hasn’t rushed me along. He has always been really attentive and genuinely trying to get the best result for me and my bike. As someone who is relatively new to cycling, he makes the whole process really enjoyable.

Bought two bikes from the Stanmore store so far. Look for Matt as he is professional and not pushy. Willing to spend time answering your questions. Very pleased with my experience.

The staff member Cody was polite & incredibly helpful from the moment I walked into the store. I had an idea of what I was after & he suggested 3 bikes that were in line with what I wanted. He suggested going for a test ride to see which bicycle was best for me. He never rushed or pushed me. When I chose the cheaper model he did not attempt to dissuade me for a more expensive one. Overall the service I experienced was one of the best I have ever had from any bicycle shop. I have been a pretty regular customer at the 99Bikes Stanmore store throughout 2016 and have never had a bad customer service experience.

The team are friendly and approachable and no question is outside their scope...well no question from this non-professional cyclist anyway. ;)

I always thoroughly enjoy vising this store.
From the moment you walk in the staff greet you, come out from behind the counter and take a really genuine look at your bike as well! I also like how they carry the bike upstairs for you and basically do everything to make you feel welcome.
I have had a number services done on my bike and the mechanic/s are also really lovely to deal with, They will often walk and talk you through whats happening, give your bike an extra check and then carry the bike back downstairs again, how cool is that?
