There is always something going on at Akuna - Turfing and building the other day! So our furry guests can have grass & shade for Summer. :)

Can you help? I have had a pet parent ask me who's the best company to do pet Insurance with - so I am wondering if you can share if you have had a good (or bad) experience with a pet insurer?

We hand out lot's of liver treats to our furry guests and whats even better is our Liver is Australia Made by the "Loyalty Treat" guys in Queensland. It's seriously the best liver you can buy! And now they offer "Fliver" which is fish and liver mixed together! hahaha 🤣.

Ok - I'll count to 10 and you go hide. 🤣 We think Toby C want's to play hide and seek.

Nothing gets us more excited at Akuna than NEW TOYS!!! Woooohoooo. Our doggy guests love them too. 😄

We used Akuna pets for the first time last week. I can't say I've had a better experience! Our dog Buddy can be a little temperamental as he is a rescue, but the Team at Akuna did their utmost to make sure he was looked after. He only stayed overnight so we weren't a mega customer, but we were treated so well by the Team. When we visit the Hunter again, without a doubt Buddy would be checked in (and hopefully be more polite). Summary: Thank you so much, you guys and girls rock!

I was very happy with the care given to my two dogs and appreciated the daily videos. I would certainly choose to send them to Akuna again. Many thanks to all the staff.

I always know when I drop my dog Buddy off that he will receive the best care and they treat him like one of their own. They have the best of facilities that cater for all needs and Buddy is always happy to return and that in it's self speaks volumes. Thank you Akuna for offering us piece of mind on our holidays.

My cat smooch has just gotten home from spending time at this incredible pet resort and i couldn't be happier, right from the word go their service has been exceptional and provided me with a level of comfort i haven't had from other kennels in the past. The care they have for the animals in their resort is truly incredible, i realized this from even the first phonecall i had with the office right up until i picked up smooch at the end of his stay. i think smooch had a better holiday then i did in the end, I have never seem him so relaxed

I will definitely be using them again, if you care for your pets as much as i do i recommend you do the same.
