Shout out to my amazing friend Lynda on her birthday today. Lynda is one of those people who would drop everything to come to see you, regardless of how far away you live - and I know this as a fact, because she comes from Canberra nearly every single weekend to help out at APPI events.
She is one of the funniest people I know, incredibly caring, witty, and will do anything asked of her. She eats weird food, like spreading icecream on a McChicken... but her little weird idios...yncrasies are endearing - when they're not making me vomit ;)
So please join me in wishing a very APPI Birthday to Lynda!
xxxx 😘🎉🎈

Join APPI Ghost Hunts & Tours for an exclusive paranormal investigation at this beautiful, historic property, in 2019...
The History. Roseleigh The Witchery is a beautiful manor house which comprises of several properties, the first being built in 1876.
... Originally known as Overdale, the property was granted to Mr Robert Ronald of Victoria in the 1870’s, and was then sold to the Donnelly Family, who are attributed to building the original homestead with traditional bull-nose veranda’s, timber flooring and extensive wrought iron lace work.
In 1918 the property was purchased by the Leahy’s who renovated, ensuring the existing architecture of the buildings flow from the late 1800s through to the 1920s, 30s and 40s.
During the Second World War it was the home of Italian prisoners of war, and many descendant families of those POWs still call the Wagga District home.
In 1955 the property was bequeathed to the Nursing Sisters of the Little Company of Mary, an international community dedicated to evangelisation prayer and care of the sick, dying, poor and marginalised.
It served the religious community as a rest house, a conference centre, a retreat house, a convent, and a house of spirituality, offering a place for those inclined to make space and time in their lives to nurture their souls.
The current owner, Kate Wendt, dreamed of transforming Overdale into a function centre and day spa, and her dream became a reality in 2004, ensuring this beautiful manor maintains the look and feel of its past.
Paranormal Activity. This place has quite a history, and with it comes some pretty crazy paranormal activity! Glasses have exploded in people’s hands in the area which was once the servants’ quarters, wet footprints on the floor in the accommodation area, where no people were staying. Babies crying in the night – when there were no babies, several trestle tables have folded in on themselves at functions, shadow figures, swinging chandeliers, apporting objects which have been missing for several days, only to be returned to their rightful place, strange smells, mysterious black mists, and, of course, voices and footsteps in the night…
So join us for this exclusive ghost hunt at this beautiful manor - without the exaggerated hype, this place is the real deal!
Extend your experience by having dinner beforehand in the beautiful Rose & Willow restaurant prior to our ghost hunt.
Extend it even more by staying the night! To book accommodation, please call (02) 6928 4420 - it's very affordable with rooms starting at $50 a night!

Fully recovered now from our mammoth weekend away! APPI were fortunate enough to investigate the amazing Roseleigh The Witchery, which is about 20 minutes from Wagga, in Harefield.
This place has the most amazing, diverse history and the paranormal activity we encountered came from all different eras of the house.
We are back there on 15 September - it’s sold out, but fear not, we have just locked in some more dates for next year!

On Saturday 21 July we are back at the amazing Berrima Courthouse!
I found this photo online, and can't wait for the day that I get there and see SNOW! That would be amazing!!!
---
... Take part in a ghost hunt inside one of the oldest courthouses in Australia. Step back in time with us and enter this creepy haunted building for 4 hours, a building that’s awaiting your investigation!
The formidable Berrima Courthouse in the Southern Highlands, which dates back to the Victorian era, is now a museum, and we invite you to join us for a terrifying ghost hunt as we investigate the access areas, such as the courtroom, male and female holding cells, judges quarters, jury room and more...
Ghosts and Spirits said to haunt this building
There have been many ghostly sightings inside this building, which should come as no surprise due to its age and the vast number of people who have passed through its doors since its first session.
Be warned however, that as you approach this old Courthouse you may well feel quite uneasy as to what you are going to uncover and experience during the night, many locals tell of reports of a mysterious woman who appears, often from the holding cells area, to walk along the bookshelf. Could it be she who set off the motion sensor one night when we were investigating?
Spirits also seem to be trying to communicate with us via music. Songs have started on our phones, on ipods, and even using the REM-pod's.
We keep waiting for the mannequins to move on us, and it has been reported that one day, when the staff opened the doors, readying the Courthouse for visitors, all of the mannequins' wigs were in a pile in the courtroom.
Brief History
The location for Berrima Courthouse was first chosen in 1834, taking another 3 years to complete construction. Built of hand-hewn sandstone in Regency style, the Courthouse was used to convict criminals through to 1900 and saw crimes from cattle steeling through to notorious bushrangers and murderers.
If you like scary ghost hunts, then this event is for you, so join us as we try and communicate with those on the other side.
Please Note: Please bring along your torch and paranormal underwear!
