Arts Hotel

Rooms are quite small, and average in terms of fit out. My room had two mattresses pushed together to make a double bed size which was a bit of a surprise. The bathroom could use a refit, the hair-dryer looks like it's from the 70s, but if you're looking for budget accommodation in the city this is really quite a nice place. It feels safe as a single female guest, it's quiet, and the staff are friendly.

Rooms are quaint and sufficient for an overnight stay. However any more than 2 nights, you may wish for something cosier.

Staff is friendly and they do their job well. Bathroom could benefit from some updates, or a complete shower-enclosure. Nothing worth complaining about or that would keep me from coming back.

Clean rooms, 24-hour check in, easy access to St. Vincent's Hospital. Staff was nice and the restaurant/bar is amazing!

Didn't look promising as we entered room. A bit 1960s. But the true strengths of the place then began to emerge over the two weeks we stayed. Room had all you need: safe, TV, fridge, clock, powerful shower. In our room plenty space. Quite excellent domestic and desk staff, great laundry facilities, fab little bar next door. Pretty easy walk to city centre if a 15 min walk's not too much. If you want Claridges, avoid. If you want practical, comfy, reasonably priced stay it really is a no brainier.

An ok location but with ample bus services. What made this a great hotel was the excellent and helpful staff! Very knowledgeable and happy to help you get to where you want to be! Rooms were simple but very clean, bathroom was excellent, again small but very modern and clean. A lovely hotel for the money!!
