***This new centre opened on 17 March 2014 in the wake of the closure of the original site at Mitchell Rd, Alexandria due to re-development. It brings together the Mitchell Rd Emporium, which occupied the ground floor of the old site and some dealers from the Mitchell Rd Antiques and Design Centre, which occupied the upper level of the old site.

The imminent closure of the Sydney Antiques Centre at South Dowling St, Surry Hills, again due to re-development, has meant that several of the dealers from that venerable grand dame will also be taking up residence on Wyndham St.

I think it is safe to say that this new centre is well on the way to earning the title of the largest antiques centre in Sydney if not in Australia and even the southern hemisphere.
