THE WHISPERING JACK SHOW A TRIBUTE TO THE MUSIC OF JOHN FARNHAM 18+
SATURDAY NOVEMBER 3, 2018... Doors: 7.30pm – Show: 8pm
Adults: $20 Artist Facebook
Mike’s uncanny resemblance, the tone of his voice and his outgoing nature are so much like the real thing that people often ask him ‘Are you related?’- a comment that is humbling to Mike, but at the same time recognition and credit to his own performance.
After comments from Danni Minogue’s ‘The closest I’ve ever heard to Farnham’ – a performance watched by 1.6 million people, Mike took the show to all parts of Australia, originally put together for the Sydney Club Circuit, the show was scooped up by other states.
Performing in theatre for many years, Mike decided to combine his love of acting and music together and create the Whispering Jack Tribute Show – A tribute to the music of John Farnham.
‘I wanted the show to be an interactive event with the audience, not just a knock out the songs and hope the people like it type thing, but a special evening where people could be entertained not just by the music, but with a touch of comedy and history about John as well. ‘It’s a fun night!’ Mike added.
As with any tribute show, you sometimes get the critics that want to pick a show apart. With Whispering Jack, Mike took the advice of his singing coach Lindsay Field and added his own interpretation to a lot of the material, so that instead of just comparing the two people actually get a chance to acknowledge Mikes own true ability as one of Australia’s finest voices.
Mike recently performed at FESTIVALE in City Park Launceston, Tasmania, in front of 10,000 people that could not believe their ears!
Organizers were inundated with calls asking ‘was the real one performing?’
Mike performed on the bill with Darryl Braithwaite and Ross Wilson.
The Peaches and Cream Festival 2011 in Cobrum, Victoria rated the show the best tribute to come to the festival in 20 Years! 5,000 people attended!
Mike has performed in EVERY STATE in Australia. He is the ONLY Australian touring artist tribute to John Farnham.
The Whispering Jack Show is a must for Farnham fans – so come along and enjoy the show

Never again. Went there yesterday for lunch before flying out of Ballina airport therefore I didn’t have time to go anywhere else ... the lady that served me was so rude and had a huge attitude didn’t even get a hello, just what do you want and went downhill from there. The meals were disgusting ... the rump steak was a tiny piece of burnt meat, I asked for medium to well and the chips looked and tasted like they had been cooked several times. The chicken Snitz its self was okay the chips again were filthy and the vegetables tasted like they’d been soaking in salt water. My daughter ordered whiting fillets from the children’s menu, out came one piece of greasy battered something, definitely was not whiting on top of more disgusting dried out nearly orange/brown chips.
