Very hard to beat a night out at Barbuto. Amazing Ribs.

Omg amazing food. We always go here for any birthday dinner. Make room for the combos.

Disappointed with the service at my daughter's birthday lunch today. Main course was served before shared starters and then part of the table was cleaned whilst one person was still eating.

Very disappointed. We had our daughter's 16th birthday dinner here last Saturday night and as we had my elderly parents with us I made the booking in person over a week before to ensure I had the front corner table which was the quietest one for the night. The restaurant rang to confirm the booking the night before and once again I reiterated that I had booked the front corner table and was once again told that would be fine. When we arrrived at 5.30pm although the restaurant wasn't extremely busy, our table had been given away to another group who didn't want to sit outside in the cold, and they refused to move. We were offered a table either right in the middle of the restaurant, or a smaller table for five people which the six of us had to crowd around which was also in the middle section of the restaurant. Unfortunately my daughter's night was spoiled by the fact that neither of her grandparents could hear any of the conversation, even though everyone was screaming to speak over the noise of the restaurant. The food was good, but unfortunately our overall experience at Barbutos this time was extremely disappointing, especially given the expense of the night.

Extremely dissapointing! Horrible service. I am perplexed at how this restaurant manages to stay open.
Edit - since I left my original negative review the restaurant manager has made every effort to correct what one staff member has done wrong and as a result I am convinced that this was an isolated incident. Based on the managers reaction to correct the situation I am confident that I would have a much better experience if I were to return.

Barbutos has always been the best of our local restaurants, however today, we tried the Smoked Pork Belly for,the first time. It is Exceptional! A true "Harry met Sally" moment. Watch the classic "Harry Met Sally " movie to understand. This dish is one of the best I have had anywhere in the world! Do yourself a favour .......

Stumbled upon this restaurant whilst up in the northern side of Sydney and very glad I did. A funky space with friendly service, extensive menu and kids friendly also. All the food were delicious and presented well. The barramundi had a crispy skin, fried chicken had a crunchy flavoursome coating, steak beautifully cooked & salads substantial and well composed. The sangria was refreshing on a hot summers day and was a great drink to start the meal. Cocktails are also well made. I would love to try the ribs one day as it looks and smells delicious!

Nice friendly staff with a virtually unaltered menu, parking is a gamble

Have had some truly excellent meals here .. recommended for anyone .. even bring the kids along!

Great food but an extraordinarily noisy restaurant. Customer experience could be greatly improved with the addition of acoustic buffering.
