Barrel Brokers is a husband and wife team that was founded in the Yarra Valley. Formed after a deep love of whisky, wine, craft beer and of course, the art of coopering and barrels! The business recently relocated to the Corowa Distillery Site where a commercial cooperage is being built. Murray River Cooperage will be headed up by John Carberry, Master Cooper of over 30 years bringing with him expertise from Scotland's most fames distilleries. The office is surrounded by an abundance of wineries that are producing some of the countries best and oldest fortified wines, a hand full of exceptional breweries and a sprinkle of world class distilleries. "We are spoilt for choice and have options on hundreds of quality used fortified barrels which we specialise in. We also source spirit barrels in both large and small formats as well as buying and selling second hand distillery, brewery and winery equipment. There is nothing we can't source. " Says Robbie. "We really are your one stop shop. If there is something specific or special you are chasing, come to us first. You won't have to go elsewhere… We treat every single client like family.
