Won’t be going back. Nice booth seats but everything else is barely adequate.
Abysmal customer service. There are several signs displaying "Please be seated for table service", so I managed to find some seats at a dirty table. After sitting at the table I asked the waitress what was available in the way of sweets. She told me that I'd have to go up to the counter to choose something. I took that to mean that I'd have to order at the counter, as (I guessed) table service was for cooked food only, so I waited there while the barista served two customers (I now presume to pay the pill only), she then turned away from me, ignored me and proceeded to make coffee. After another few minutes she walked up to me and stated rudely that it was table service only. I explained to her that the waitress led me to believe that I had to order sweets at the counter. The waitress overheard and shouted rudely " I told you that to choose something first then come back and order", a complete lie. I then left after rebuking them for terrible customer service. The table was still dirty when I left. Horrible staff. Walked up the road to the Gumnut Patisserie, which was packed, the staff were friendly and happy and the food was brilliant - chalk and cheese.
Walked in and walked out in less than a minute. Having been shuffled around to three different tables with rude unwelcoming staff. Don't even bother walking in .... see you never!!! Shame the cakes looked good.
Very rude service by one of the staff, expensive ordinary food
Nice coffee, pleasant, efficient service, amazing choice of pies and cakes, we had a pepper steak and a chicken and mushroom, both lovely! Bought some handmade chocolates for a treat at home and they were fantastic!
Great service from Poly, and great food, will definitely recommend
Always had excellent food and service. Prices are decent too (for Bowral).
Cozy, pleasant service and peaceful. Good food as well. Would visit again.
Like anywhere in Bowral the prices are on the high side, $21 for a steak sandwich and chips.
Typical Aussie small town cafe , nothing to make it better or worse than any other.
The service was good but I never got my glass of water ( seeing the place was 1/2 empty on a Sunday afternoon , there's no excuse)
Coffee was good
Steak sandwich was just ok, but not what I'd expect form a $21 one.
