Great... food was nice and service was friendly and quick.

Chinois has been going for over 20 years and it never disappoints. They don't have an overly extensive menu but they do it well. The service is always friendly and efficient. Beers on tap as well as a decent wine menu. I often see my Cantonese born customers and their families enjoying a banquet!

Brilliant food it was light and fresh with well balanced flavors perfect. Service was thoughtful and friendly. Great value for money. If you enjoy true Chinese flavors it's a must 😋

We would have to agree with many reviewers that the food was bland and glistened with oil. Chinese fillet steak with vegetables and chicken chow mein both had the same lightly colored sauce. I will say the dishes looked glossy and appealing with that coating of oil and the vegetables were fresh and crisp. I think we enjoyed the vegetables the most. The fried rice had tiny 2mm x 2mm unappealing pieces of we presume bbq pork, some bits of egg and very very little shallot. The rice was lightly coloured beige or grey and the flavour was not good on it's own. Atmosphere was lively, noisy. The service was good. We sat at 6.05, were served water immediately had our order taken soon after, drinks delivered 6.10 and we were eating 6.18. We wouldn't eat here again.

Excellent food and service. The full flavour you expect from great Chinese food. I'm a fussy eater but a regular here. Love it!
