Creative Childcare Hunter St is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to join its growing team of educators on both a full-time & part-time basis.
Essential Skills & Requ...irements Ideally a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience as an Early Childhood Teacher working in an Early Childhood setting Knowledge the early years learning framework (EYLF) Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent ACECQA qualifications Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain Current Senior First Aid Certificate CPR completed in the last 12 months Current Child Protection Training Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills Energetic passionate and committed to work Flexibility to work a variety of shift times

Over the last month the educators at Creative Childcare Hunter St have been working on an August recycle challenge.Each of the rooms were set the challenge to create a learning space or experience for the children using second hand or recycled items they found on gumtree, marketplace or in second hand shops. All of the educators have worked together to create some amazing new resources and experiences for the children within each of the rooms 🌸

Understanding cultural and dietary requirements of all children aged 6 weeks-6 years Food preparation, cooking and serving of morning tea, lunch & afternoon tea Kitchen audits and stocktaking Weekly food order Maintaining a high level of kitchen hygiene
Essential Criteria: Certificate in Food Handling Food Safety Supervisor Certificate Current Working with Children Check Experience working in an Early Childhood kitchen or similar environment on a large scale Have excellent communication skills The ability to work at a fast pace to keep a busy kitchen moving & adapt menu according to cultural/dietary/age Have sound understanding of the National Quality Standards/ Food Safety Regulations around food prep and kitchen safety

Today our babies he...aded out on their first excursion to visit our Creative Childcare Hamilton Centre. With the sun shining it was the perfect day for a walk through our community to see the local sites and businesses. When we arrived at Creative Childcare Hamilton we enjoyed a picnic lunch, play in their playground and opportunity to make new friends. Thanks to Kristy, Georgia and the Hamilton staff and babies at Creative Childcare Hamilton for allowing us to come and visit you! A huge thank you to their amazing cook Taylah for our delicious lunch and take home treats 🌸💜! We cant wait for you to come and visit us soon 🌞

Disco is back 💃 and dont we know how to celebrate at Creative Childcare! Thank you to all of our children who helped us raise awareness of SIDS, a charity very dear to the hearts of many of our own staff and families ❤️ #rednosedaydisco

With Red Nose Day just around the corner and our celebrations beginning today we are holding 2 red lolly guessing competitions (one in the centre and one right here on Facebook to raise awareness of SIDS). To place your guess all you have to do is comment how many lollies you think are in the jar pictured 😋. The correct or closest guess wins the whole jar! The winner will be announced at 1pm tomorrow (29.6.18) Good luck 🌸

Red Nose is a charity that aims to eradicate sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS). Tomorrow the staff and children at Hunter St will be holding a Red Nose Disco in support of such an amazing cause. We hope to see all of our little ones dressed in red tomorrow and ready for a day of dancing, games, face painting and lots of fun 💃🕺🔴
