St Agnes primary school art mural was officially opened today for NADIOC Week. Feel very honoured to be apart of this. 💜
On Friday the 27th of July my sons Abe & Jake Whitfield from Hastings Public School & Caitlyn Toomey, my Drawn to Art student from St Agnes Primary School were selected as finalists in the New England Regional Art Museum & University of New England Let’s Hang it Acquisition Art Exhibition in Armidale. The students artworks were one of the top 15 in their infant & primary age divisions with 600 entries this year. As finalists Jake painted a watercolour Giraffe titled “Giraffe ...in the starry sky” & Caitlyn who painted a unique Ram watercolour composition, they were awarded Certificates of Distinction on the night, while Abe was the winner of the Primary School division first prize, for his artwork Magical Owl, gel pens and acrylic paint on paper. He won $100 & an art pack. As a Mother and art teacher, I’m so proud of my sons & art student Caitlyn for being apart of such a prestigious art competition & achieving amazing results. It’s such a joy having sons who love and appreciate art & teaching students such as Caitlyn who are so talented and creative. Well done & congratulations Abe, Jake & Caitlyn. 💙💙💜🎨

Drawing Pet Art workshop today, Wow....so blown away with how talented everyone is. Incrediable drawing skills, we achieved so many varied techniques, charcoal, chalk, lead pencil, graphite and oil pastels, love the results.🎨
