✨ Now here’s the story behind this candid picture. This is my little brother bear “Phoenix”. (Aka The Crystal Shop mascot and general stealer of hearts). He came to the shop to visit his Mama (Fay). Left to his own devices for a moment, this fluffy angel from heaven waddled himself straight into my office. Unbeknownst to us he jumped up onto my reading chair. Can you imagine our giggles when we turned around to see him paw first over the Tarot cards. Elise’s quick thinking with camera in hand ensured we got this photo. I think he is one of my best students to date. 🤣💚

A little while back my partner and I made the decision that even though our schedules were crazy busy and we had some financial goals we needed to kick we decided we would make the effort to schedule a trip to tick off a bucket list item and also spend some quality time with loved ones we don’t get to see very often. We value that life isn’t promised to us every day, and we know first hand from working with hundreds of people who have ...lost their dearest ones that we must squish in as much love, fun and enjoyment as is humanly possible into our stay here at Hotel Earth. This photo captures one of the special moments that I was thinking I was so glad we did.
Huge shout out to all the amazingly unique and beautiful people who add value to my life and love me. I love you too. I recently had a friend from overseas tell me she wanted to get a reading and had to choose between two psychics who were recommended online by mutual friends. I told her to go with her gut instinct because she should go to who she was most drawn to not who I was drawn to which she said was good advice. She then said “Well I suppose one I can get into in a few weeks the other one has an eight month wait list though so he must be better than the first one if he’s that booked u...p right? .... I might book with him and wait it out”. I offered my friend some more advice and suggested before she booked her appointment she should see if she can find out how many appointments each of the readers gave a week to see if this “wait list” made that reader any better than the first. My friend found out that the reader with the shorter wait list actually read for 24 people consistently 3 days a week. The other reader with the longer wait list read only 4 people on 1 day per week which is why they were booked out in advance. My friend ended up making her own choice based off of this information.

Wow what a huge couple of weeks it’s been. Thank you to everyone who has booked and come in for sessions, it’s been amazing and wonderful and I love every minute of it as always. The shop has been teaming to the brim full of folks admiring all the pretty things instore. I am loving those moments in between readings where I come out and see customers who don’t know each other feeling comfortable and happy to connect with others of like mind and striking up conversations toget...her or watching Fay, Elise and Jen (the retail goddesses) offering their knowledge wisdom and guidance on all things mystical. The Crystal Shop is always full of magic. 🔮✨

Bookings -
Just a bit of housekeeping regarding bookings. With my new online booking system I am going to have to crack down on no-shows or I will have no choice but to make all readings pre-paid. Sometimes things happen and it’s unavoidable of course, but once you have confirmed, and I have contacted you the day before and you have re-confirmed and then don’t show, or call soon as you know you cannot attend it’s a little unfair as it is too late to fill your position with... people who have wanted an appointment slot that day. (Even if I sense you aren’t serious about the appointment or won’t show I have to extend the courtesy to you that you are as you have requested it). Luckily my booking system now records no-shows automatically and how many times you re-schedule right before an appointment is due so if this shows up against your name please do not be offended if I do not accept any future bookings from you. Sorry for cracking down on things but I am sure people can understand that I have room rent to pay for the appointments booked, people miss out on appointments and you waste my time and energy. Be courteous and kind please everyone when making appointments and treat people as you would like to be treated.
