I was looking forward to having lunch here yesterday. I walked in, found a table in the side room and waited for someone to take my order. Instead, I waited as a staff member continually walked passed me, spent time with other tables who came in after me, offered them water and took their orders. Also laughed and took photos for another table who I overheard saying that this Cafe is famous in Queensland as people rave about it. After continually being ignored, I left and went across the road to another Cafe. I know and understand the hospitality industry and was disappointed with the lack of acknowledgement from your staff.

Amazing cafe with a genuine difference. The curries are great if you get the opportunity to eat there.

I have been visiting the Elephant Boy Cafe since 2007 and have always been offered the same friendly service. Elephant Boy Cafe is a very cosy cafe right in the centre of town. I love the bookshelves that wrap around the entire cafe, they make the cafe very inviting. I enjoy all the menu has to offer, the great food and the excellent coffee!

Cute cafe but poor service and red haired lady working there refused to split bill saying she was too busy. Too busy to presumably serve her patrons. Instead ten people had to leave in search of an ATM and then get change. Utterly useless place.

This is my favourite Cafe of all time. It's quirk and charm will forever have me returning!

Service was pleasant, efficient and quick. Coffee was served in a reasonable time and hot. The curry was as we like it, and very tasty. It was as good as we remember from previous visits.

Lovely quaint cafe with gorgeous cosy interior. Wait staff were so lovely and attentive. Prices were medium to high. Food isn't amazing but pretty good overall. I had crumbed Barramundi and was impressed with the really fine crumb base! Would recommend. Great for a small catch up:)

Went here a few weeks ago for a coffee and enjoyed the ambience and the coffee. Went back yesterday for a quick coffee and unfortunately had to leave before it was served. There was first a mix up about whether we had ordered, then when we explained we were in a hurry they apologized and took the order but it didn't progress. This is understandable if they were busy but they didn't appear to be. There were service staff around who didn't appear to be doing anything. A bit too casual and off-hand for my liking.
