Food was great, staff excellent. Just needs a little more atmosphere. Perhaps it's just the Tuesday night crowd. More people should try this place throughout the week and then it would have everything. Give it a go!

Essen Cafe & Restaurant is one of my favorite go to places whenever I need to eat a sumptuous meal. I always crave for their chicken boscaola and apple turnover. Super tasty!

Have been here a few times with my sisters and family. Great place to have dinner at, restaurant is very clean and modern, staff are great to deal with and food is beautiful. Would highly recommend. A must TRY.

Great service and great food! We stopped by Essen for lunch and ordered two chicken burgers that came with chips and a free soft drink! Great value and a nice portion size. Will definitely be coming back 😊

Main course was tasty... surprised the seafood basket didn't come in a basket though. One of our waitresses was lovely (the rest rude) and the baked gaytime was a huge letdown... a tiny piece of melted, soggy liquid that somewhat resembled ice cream.

New owner creative menu delicious flavours. Try the crab burger and sweet potato fries yum.

Its quiet a step up from previous owners. More crafted more cheffy i guess lol.

The soba noodle soup while not huge is absolutely outstanding.

Burgers delicious as are breakfasts. Im here most days grazing my way through the menu

The food was great. Real gourmet style food. Has a homey kind of feel to it. Menu isnt difficult to choose from. Food taste great. Perfect portion size.

One of the worst dinners ive had burn food, cold food, forget about their customers and to top it off a live caterpillar in the food and when we brought it to their attention we get told " we cant check every meal"
So never again but we will still charge you for everything and toop dollar and could'nt eat it
