Ettalong Beach Tourist Resort

Not great place. Would not recommend it to anyone. Very much overpriced as well.

Lets start with the room we got; a tired small space advertised as a family suite (looked nothing like the photo) this little room was no bigger than a standard cheaper room it is unfortunate that it was not renovated and had very thread bare worn red carpet and a bathroom that smelt, no kitchen and no seating area. You even have to pick up an ironing board and iron from the front desk! This is something pretty standard you would expect to find in a "resort" room. Not worth the $190 we paid! On the plus side Check in staff pleasant room was very clean considering its age and Bar Toto next door is AMAZING. If you are in the area do pop into bar Toto for friendly bar team and amazing cocktails.

We stayed one night here on our way up the coast the accommodation was clean and tidy but the bed was really uncomfortable and I found the receptionist to be very unfriendly and not welcoming at all.

Great stay in a quirky mediterranean style building. Room was clean and well presented, free wifi and friendly staff. Close to the beach as well as bars restraunts and plenty of parking on site.

Basic hotel. Walls on the thin side as we can hear the children next door. Only the one bath towel provided, no hand towel. Bed reasonably comfortable, large screen tv, usual tea and coffee provided. Decor is nice with an Italianate feel. There's a number of cafes, restaurants and small shops below.

So hospitality is the WORST.
They refuse to help with anything.
Don't bother calling to the front desk because the lady is not interested in helping in the slightest.
The wifi hasn't worked the WHOLE three days I've been here and I'm pretty sure on my first night I had to sleep to the sound of what seemed like a spa bath running ALL night in the room adjoining to ours (4).

There pool is seasonal not all year round. So don't expect to be able to swim or use the "spa"... not a spa.

Don't be fooled into thinking the cinema is part of the Hotel or free.. it is not, neither is a microwave to heat up food. There are no communal cooking facilities so no where to make food, they literally have a half finished kitchen area that looked like it could have been communal but they have ripped it out so you have to use their food shops and restaurants.

I ACTUALLY WANT SOME OR ALL OF MY MONEY BACK, , What a waste of what could have been a amazing venue.

Im usually super easy going. This place is actually so disappointing to me I could cry!

Fantastic place for weekend markets, see a movie, and lots of good dinging options. I would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

We were contacted before we arrived and had everything organised for our check-in after reception had colsed. Nice place. Interesting architecture, not sure if it was Greek or Roman. The room was clean. There was a smell of vomit on one of the beds, but reception was closed (and was rarely open whilst we were there) & we covered it up with aftershave. The range of places to eat at the complex was great. The markets on Saturday morning were good. We were worried that the room would be noisy from the markets, but it wasn't. We would stay there again.

Rooms were nice but old. Service wasn't the best. Location is very nice and great choice of eateries.

Plenty of fun. Neat artwork and sculptures all around the building. I'd give it a solid 489/490
