The face paint I use is water based, hypo-allergenic & non toxic , not tested on animals and also FDA approved which means they have been tested for safety and made specifically for use on the skin, made from approved cosmetics and comply with regulations for cosmetics.
If you child has sensitive skin a skin test can be performed to be on the safe side : )
