What a horrible experience!! If I could give 0 stars I would... Used car salesman Len is a horrible excuse of a human, if I were the owner of Ford Harrigan I would be embarrassed to know I have someone like that representing my business. Ive given the owner over a week to respond to my call and to which I was ignored so today this is resulting in this review.
I was looking at buying a used Ford Transit to which he kept trying to convince me their mechanics went over it and it came with a pink slip so it wasn't necessary for me to get an independent inspection.
He thought he had the sale in the bag, until I had someone turn up to do the inspection that was.
The guy who I employed to do this was abused, then I was phoned by Len to be abused, told I was an idiot to pay $300 for a inspection and half way through a 1.5 hour independent inspection, I was told that he has learnt a major lesson dealing with "people like me" and he would be giving me my money back. It got to the point that I had to hang up on him because he was so rude and ignorant!
When I got there the mechanic was refused to use an appropriate area to look over the car and was made to do the work on an uneven gravel area.
Things wrong with the van
1. someone had hit the car after the pink slip had been done and right tail light was smashed and side of car damaged
2. the back doors looked to be uneven and when we poured water over the doors ALL water went inside, great to know he was selling me a leaking van when I have thousands of dollars worth of stock I wanted to keep stored in there! Also when I test drove I said it smelt damp and I was told it was because the chairs had just been professionally cleaned!
3. both seal panels under van were crushed, probably from someone living the van incorrectly
4. warn engine mount, the engine was very loose and have videos to show
5. the van lost power twice so may have had an air bubble in the fuel line.

Bottom line is the van was a lemon and they were happy to do what they could to sell it to whom ever they could convince to buy.
When I went to see Len after the mechanic told me not to buy it I asked him if he wanted to know the issues with the car and he straight out said he wasn't interested.
Len, you really need to work on your behaviour and your people skills if you want to keep working in sales. I would never recommend anyone buy a car from this car yard EVER, especially a used car. They say 1 good job a customer tells 1 person and 1 bad job a customer tells a dozen....

Bought my Falcon here many many years ago and its still going strong. I always come back for my parts when needed as its great service from the staff here and also are very good at what they do.

Service department! Not to the public! Most unhelpful service adviser, obviously doesn't want work to enter workshop. Very rude person and doing Harrigan Ford a disservice. I will take my ford elsewhere. He said he couldn't guarantee the work would rectify the problem, but would take my money whatever.

Ford's must be absolute rubbish cars considering that both the Ford service centres in the Illawarra are booked out for 3+ weeks.

On top of this the staff here are beyond rude and will contradict one another from day to day. And good luck getting any response from management either here or from Ford itself.

Cant believe that when you have a mechanical issue there booked solid for three weeks and won't even take a look at it till then. Great customer service?

Not the greatest customer service. No one seems to answer the phone or call you back when they say. It was always someone else's fault. Didn't have the car colour we wanted after we signed up.Made us wait almost 10 weeks for the one we wanted,we had to call every time to find out what was going on/eta on delivery. Not a fun car buying experience.
