Good value rentals

Terrible customer service. Multiple mistakes made by the client facing staff. Patronising attitudes with no attempts to help or resolve. The staff try to push you to call the call centre to deal with the errors they made. Use a car rental elsewhere if you have the choice.

I'm going to give 5 stars even if they are not perfect they surely don't deserve all the negativity. I was really impressed with the service received from the the Newcastle branch. Rachel was especially helpful.

I would suggest that some of the negativity stems from the way they hold charges on you card weekly but charge monthly. It can be confusing but there is no rip off happening here, just a bit of confusion. If you ignore the holds and focus on the charges it's easy to marry them up and see that you have been charged correctly.

I hope that this can be better communicated for the sake of the staff and customers and that in the future they get more reviews from customers who have actually had a good experience.

I would have no hesitation in hiring from here again and would recommend them to family and friends.

The staff were rude and completely unhelpful

Staff were snobby and very rude to me!!! especially the old fat lady... and how rude when i hear the comments they were laughing about as other customers were leaving makes me wonder what they said about me...
The car hire itself was good but staff who are paid to do 1 thing and thats customer service and are blatantly rude about them. i would give minus 10 stars..

i get cars here constantly never had an issue (touch wood)

Be prepared to pay an arm and a leg! customer service doesn't exist!! Terrible place will never deal with them again!

Newcastle Airport *****=horrible `````---- what a waste of money to hire- they charge you for someone else negligence. not hiring again in future ever. completely dis--appointed, don't wanna give any star but i had to give one to post on their website

Best company ever to deal with, picking up the car = easy. Extending hire = easy. Dropping car off = easy. Thankyou hertz for making it so easy! Oh, and the car was really nice too!
