Ibis Budget Newcastle

Pretty small rooms, really small bathroom. The beds are comfy and the staffs are good but there are blood stains on the bed, and looks it needs a fair bit of cleaning. After we saw that had a bad sleep throughout. Not really worth for $100 room.

Reasonably priced, but the rooms and hotel facilities are limited and dated. Perfect place if you're looking for cheap room to sleep and keep your belongings, but not really suitable if you're wanting to have a nice time at the hotel.

Great value for money awesome service too

Rooms are cozy and clean. Air con, kettle and spacious. Bathroom is very small and theres no door or shower curtain between the shower and toilet so the entire bathroom gets flooded when showering. Basin is in the bedroom, not the bathroom.

Friendly staff and clean little room. Great value. Perfect for what we needed. Rob and his team were excellent and he makes the best coffee.

Convienent and very helpful staff and big shopping centre less than a 2 min walk

Right next to the main road into Newcastle. Better sized room than other Ibis budget hotels. Bed (bunk style) was too narrow

The room is neat, tidy and had a clean environment. Bathroom and toilet is compact, appreciated having a room that had been renovated.i highly recommend you booked into Ibis Newcastle!

Didn't and up staying there because my father didn't was at John Hunter hospital and didn't and up needing a operation so we left, We only left a bag in the room and didn't get no refund at all and the only reason I'm giving you a 3 star is the Rob at the front counter was very polite and helpful. But i still think we should of got at least half our money back was because everything was still clean and all the room did was hold a suitcase until 2:30 for us nothing needed cleaning didn't use anything at all. So i think to be fair we should get a refund of $50 because all the room did was mind a suitcase for 5 hours during the day. We are from up north at Taree NSW and we will let people know to stay because it was clean and tidy. But like i said to be fair we should of got at least $50 back because the room only held a suitcase. Thank you David Hutchinson. And Thank you to Rob the receptionist for everything. Removed my shoes in the room, and two minutes later noticed some long black hairs attached to my foot (I am blonde). On closer inspection more hairs were found around the room. Never again.

Very cheap and what you would expect a few areas could use an extra clean like mould in the cracks in the bathroom but apart from that a nice room

I found this place to be much better than when it used to be the "Formule 1" motel years back, the cleanliness has improved quite a lot and I believe that the advertised star rating is suitable. The only problem that I had was obnoxious and pathetic patrons that do nothing but keep people awake.

Friendly service.Convenient location for my graduation. The room is what you'd expect for the price :)
