King Edward Park

Stunning park overlooking the Ocean is great for whale watching and picnicking. Beautiful, grand trees and gardens. BBQ's and the delightful Rotunda!

One of the most beautiful ways to spend the day in Newcastle. Includes a flower garden, bogey hole and historic gaol.

This park pretty much has everything. There is a large grassed area, a kids playground and walking tracks nearby. It is also well protected from the wind if the weather is crappy.

Lots of old bunkers and historic stuff to look at. Park at the bottom of the Memorial Walk then walk over the top of the hill towards the ocean to see the old radar station site. Take a driving visit to the obelisk as well.

Love this park fond memories of childhood, sliding down the hill on cardboard, picnics, parties, get togethers with beautiful views. Close to war memorabilia and even has a part for dogs to run a muck

Beautiful place to hang out and look at the beach. Also good place to workout too!

Beautiful view and interesting play equipment for children. We enjoyed the historical information and the well maintained gardens. Ps. Loads of Pokémon Go to catch while the kids are playing...
