Looking for a good pair of sunglasses to buy sucks. We know that. You always find a nice pair, go look at the price, and see that these plastic sunglasses will cost you over $150. I mean, why do sunglasses even cost that much to begin with? Our goal here at Koalaty is simple - we want to provide the most comfortable and unique sunglasses, at a price that is too good to be true. Not only that, we want our sunglasses to have some real meaning and purpose - we want them to help make the world a better place. So, how did we do that? Well, after looking at a variety of different designs and materials, we soon realised that some eco-friendly bamboo sunglasses were our best option. Believe it or not, eco-friendly bamboo sunnies are actually eco-friendly and good for the environment. HOW CRAZY. They're also much lighter than your normal plastic pair, meaning they are a lot more comfortable to wear on your head. After agreeing on how we were going to make them, we needed to figure out how they were going to help make the world a better place. The answer here was simple - we donate 10% from every pair sold to a conservation fund related to the sunnies. And that's how Koalaty sunglasses came to be started by two blokes from Campbelltown.
