Lower Lachlan Community Services Inc. (LLCS) was established in 1991, it is a dynamic, community focused, non-profit organisation situated in Lake Cargelligo. LLCS is run by a management committee of 11 members of diverse backgrounds.

Lower Lachlan Community Services Inc (LLCS) was established in 1991, it is a dynamic, community focused, non-profit organisation situated in Lake Cargelligo in the centre of New South Wales. Lake Cargelligo is a small, rural community with a population of 1300 people situated around the beutiful shores of the Lake itself.

LLCS is run by a Management Committee of 11 members of diverse backgrounds. The LLCS Management Committee has been active in a range of projects and initatives with the aim of meeting the objectives of our organisation which are:
1. Provide social welfare services for those in special need eg: Centrelink & Rural Financial Counselling
2. Facilitating the advancement and improvement of the standards of efficiency of industry, commerce and agriculture
3. Providing access to technology, information, training & education.
4. Facilitating community development, and
5. Generally improving the quality of life of all community members.

The LLCS Management Committee has set its primary focus on sustainability to ensure that it is available in years to come to source grants and provide services in response to identified community need. The LLCS committee and staff are a dedicated and committed group of individuals who will continue to strive to improve the life of our community members. Our goal is to reduce the inequities that exist between us and our city counterparts, assist in the reversal of the downward spiral experienced by our community in the past and facilitate economic and social growth through the provision of services and beneficial community projects.
