Posh Active is an active-wear brand redefining the active-wear market segment for mature age women. Posh Active's mission is to motivate women to age positively and maintain their physical strength and well-being by allowing them to look fabulous whilst exercising and beyond. Co-founder, Gai Brennan, was confronted by the lack of active-wear available for mature women when she decided to become fit 5 years ago. In her mind, trying to dress older woman like elite athletes, only results in EYEBURN (severe distress to the eyes). The statistics on Eyeburn and activewear are too distressing for Gai to discuss. Her mission is to reduce eyeburn and let women be dressed beautifully in active-wear at any time and in any place. Gai says "The only way to find light at the end of the tunnel is to light it up yourself" and that is exactly what she did with business partner, Lucy McLaren. Together the girls have created the first ever line of activewear specifically for women over 50. Posh Active is about change, change in attitude towards how you should look in activewear and what you can achieve – and the answer to that is you should only ever look fabulous and there is nothing you cannot achieve! ! !
