Rethread the Earth was born of an obsession with handbags, denim, reclaimed fabrics and vintage clothing.

Most of the fabrics and trimmings used to make my rethreaded items are sourced second hand. This in no way compromises the quality of a rethread bag, rather enhances the individuality of each one. Every rethread bag is a one off.

I source my fabrics and clothing from charity shops, and I am also given many items which would otherwise be thrown away. All items are washed prior to being 'reclaimed'.

In Dec 2014 my dream of opening a store came true!
In store you will find my bags, along with some beautiful pre-loved clothing and items created by local artists. Regular contributers include a ceramic artist, a beader, a candlemaker and a mixed media artist. We also have fair trade crafts for sale. Something for everyone with an emphasis on handmade, repurposed and eco friendly. : )
