Great! Was worth the cost. Food available. Friendly staff. Photos for purchase arent worth the cost. A lot bigger than I expected, quite a lot of sea animals.
I would recommend to friends.

Even though it's old and needs a refresh (which is currently in motion due to finish towards the end of next year) i still very much enjoy visiting this place. Might be biased because it reminds me of being a child. The last tank is one of their best with an assortment of tropical fish and sharks. I can't wait for the new sea turtle exhibit

User

I loved this place. The penguins are amazing. I could watch them all day. And the signings are gorgeous. Very educational and very fun.

User

It doesn't look that big (and it's not) but it's laid out like an IKEA so you'll get your money's worth winding your way through some pretty spectacular ocean life. Surprisingly, the part after the gift shop is my favourite. I can probably sit there for the better part of the day watching the fishes swim by.

I’m giving a ones star review due to false advertisement, Sea Life experience was great until I need to purchase the meal. I was using a mobile pass, and purchased a kids meal for ease of transaction. We finished the tour already, when I showed them the pass, I was informed that I needed to go to the admission and let the ticket printed out! By that time there was already a long queue, I was with my 2y/o daugther and and I’m 35 weeks pregnant, waiting in line for $6.50 would not be worth it, plus the staff on the food court was quite rude, she kept on repeating as if I didn’t understand what they’re saying! My suggestion would be to put instructions online, don’t offer the food meal online! if they don’t have a scanner in the food court. It’s a waste of time, a savings of $1 for falling in line would not be worth it!

Great day out with the family! It was our first time going in a while and they have spilt the large tank into now sharks and fishes so its separate. The penguins exhibit is new so you can take a 3 minute ride to see them which was enjoyable. (A bit cold tho).

User

Very touristy, obviously. I recommend pre-purchasing tickets so you can skip the really long queue (10am on school holidays, it's a really long queue!). Once inside, it's good fun. A few of smaller aquariums are positioned too high for toddlers, but they'll still have a blast. And the underwater tunnels are really cool, just a bit busy (again, school holidays!).

User

I hadn't been to the aquarium since primary school; not much has been updated infrastructure wise. The the fish were stunning to gaze at Though the new indoor enclosed rafting ride was pretty cool, allowing you to see penguins in a Arctic environment. The kids on the ride loved it!
There are alot educational resources around too.
It is very pricey though and can be a long wait: to cut your time waiting (school holidays) and cost see if you can buy tickets in advance

User

Beautiful aquarium~ When you enter you get to do some different poses in front of a green screen for photos to buy when you finish. They were very cute and are a fun little add to take back home. I was expecting tge place to be quite small as that's how it seemed from the outside. But it took a good 3-4 hours to walk throughout the whole place. I also loved that there were little signs about the different species within each aquarium. Would definitely recommend going~

We went on a day where the temp peaked at 46C. It was pretty hot. They had portable air-con units scattered throughout, but it was still sweltering. Lots of tanks and lots of fish varieties to see. The dugong tank was good, but the woman announcing the details suffered from a serious case of high rising terminal. By the end of it I was sick of looking at fish, bit my daughter and niece loved it.

User

Lots of fun. The kids (aged 10) loved it. The penguin experience was truly amazing. Took us 2 hours to see everything and then we had lunch at the Cafe.

User

Great aquarium with 4 viewing tunnels under 2 main tanks. Lots to see and do. We booked online buying a multi-event ticket which meant we didn't have to queue in the rain on arrival. The penguin exhibit has the world's shortest boat ride but you get up owe to the curious little birds. If you walk past the queue you can see the boats through a window if you want to see what it is all about. We queued about 15 mins but the kids enjoyed the short ride. At the end the kids enjoyed drawing a sea creature, scanning it and seeing it "swim" projected on a giant screen. An enjoyable visit.

Gets busy during weekends. Place is not very big but got a large selection of sea life to see. Children will be very happy. It won't take up one full day. I will say 2-3hrs max in this place.

Shame on SEA LIFE for capturing those poor dugongs. Your tank is inadequately sized for fish let alone dugongs. I’ve never seen more miserable creatures and I sat there crying rather than enjoying the experience. These creatures are NOT happy like you show them to be in photos/videos and you’re painting an inaccurate image in tourist’s heads. Whats worse is that you FILMED the cruel capture of these animals as if it’s something to be proud of. Also terrible exhibitions and tanks - looked much better before renovations back when it was an aquarium with fish only. Will never be returning. Disgusted and deeply saddened. Boycott aquariums. Disregard the 1 star rating - there wasn’t an option for 0 stars. Can’t believe I funded cruelty.
