Where to start!?
At first I had a travel agent in STA who was great... but she left in the middle of the planning of my trip and as a first time traveller I felt stressed. Then I called STA and the most amazing travel agent Suzie Reid answered. And oh boy! She was kind, friendly, reassuring, had so much knowledge of all the places I was going to and I knew that she cared about me and my trip even though I have never met her face to face. She sorted out all my anxieties and offered the best advice in the world. She knew the places I was going to back to front and inside out and waa able to offer advice on currencies, places to go and things to do. I am so glad that she answeres my call that day! I've had a few dramas bookings flights etc in the middle of my trip now and she responds to all emails asap and is so professional and kind about it. No matter how many emails I send, she never gets frustrated, she replies with kindness and courtesy! This chick deserves the world! I definitely know where I'll be going and who I'll be going to when I book my next two trips... thailand and the usa! Thankyou Suzie!

I made a telephone booking for my upcoming holiday with an incredibly helpful travel agent at STA Penrith (Stephanie). She was informative, explained everything clearly, and helped get a super deal at short notice. I highly recommend this branch for booking your next trip!

Disappointed about the lack of knowledge the I encountered when asking for help to track my visa number for the USA down. I had applied for a visa last year and knew that it was still valid. The lady at the counter gave me completely wrong advice, to go and apply for a new visa. I had a hunch and went over to the Flight Centre and, even though I had booked on line with STA, she took on my case and within 5 minutes was able to bring up my visa number on her computer. Please train your staff better!

I just booked my partners flight through these folks and they were efficent and by far the lowest airfare by approx 250$. Do not bother with any other TA.

Looks like I'm not the only one who has had terrible customer service from this store. They really messed me around, first with getting the pricing way wrong then with not doing what they should be doing and then not replying to emails. Try to find a different store.

pretty good. All of my 6 flights for my holiday to vietnam got canceled or changed. went to sta chatswood.They helped me rebook and rescudual to the best of their ability.

The worst experience ever. The travel agents from the Chatswood store never replied though I called and left messages several times for two weeks to change our flights urgently. The communication only happens after lodging complaints to the store manager and reporting problems to the Head Office. Even after all those exhausting complaints, discussions, and chasing up for three weeks, in the end, they booked a hotel in Melbourne when we fly to Hobart. Nobody from the store is apologetic for the lack of service and errors they made on the itinery. The only person we could communicate-the store manager- is unfortunately out of office when the problems keep appearing and it requires the Head Office and Fair Trading to get them to fix the mess just 5 days before we depart. Only go ahead with this Chatswood Sta if you want a great deal of stress and frustration while planning your holidays and kill all the joy and excitement for your upcoming holidays even before you depart.

absolutely appalling service from STA travel Macquarie Centre , took me 3 and a half months to receive my correct ticket! whenever you go into the store there is someone different, there service was really disappointing , wont be going here again in the future for holidays , learnt my lesson

Worst customer service ever from GEORGIA JENNINGS. she lie's to the customers and gives you different information, when you ask her agin she denies that she gave you wrong information.

she tells you that she will email the Airline but she never gets back to the customer until the customer call's and ask's her what the Airline said...

I URGE PEOPLE NEVER TO USE THE STA TRAVEL TO BOOK FLIGHTS BECAUSE THE STAFF IS EXTREMELY INEXPERIENCED AND THEY ARE RUDE ESPECIALLY GEORGIA JENNINGS......

Mostly inefficient, slow to respond to emails, failed to actually book flights, causing me to re-book, when I had already paid STA for flights. Booked accommodation at a much higher price than I could have booked. When I could actually speak to someone, they were friendly, but exasperating. Never again.

I worked with Charlotte at STA as my agent for the year and she is so amazing!!! She booked my two week trip to Thailand as well as my around-the-world trip from Sydney to London, Rome to Windhoek, Johannesburg to Quito, then Quito to DC. She was so helpful - getting me the cheapest, fastest, and safest flights available. She was so helpful and willing to share her own personal knowledge for my first time doing major traveling. Also, every time she would get up to grab paperwork or something, all of the other agents were always quite friendly and happy to chat or answer any of my questions as well. Definitely a place to take advantage of when going to book a holiday!

The service is exemplary, the team are friendly, caring and approachable. They will do their best to meet your needs, I would recommend them.

Service was great, Claire was very helpfuli - but after I paid for a flight, I received a call about an hour later saying they were unable to book my flight. Had to come back in and either get refunded or pay even more for a flight with longer layovers.

Bad service! They would that i pay 190 $ for change my flight. But in the first 24 hours it is for free. Unfriendly and not polite.
I went to Newtown, they helped me and all was perfectly.

Cheap tickets but staff not professional. Get tickets from STA website and go to office to get it
