Georgous place... Beautiful food, great value for money & really lovely staff. Definitely recommend a visit!

Disappointed to be honest. Very poor Cola, nothing special cheese toastie and poor coffee. Better cafe up the road called yellow deli but big queues

We landed in the Gingerbread House accidentally, and such a pleasure it was! Sweets were really good, coffee nice. Still, it isn't the cheapest place (piece of cake costs at least $10), but the nice smell of ginger, beautiful shop and helpful service, are worth it. Being around those huge nutcrackers, lollipops, christmas trees and gingerbread decorations, we felt like kids again.

Anyone visiting Katoomba for the first time should stop over and have lunch at The Gingerbread house... Very unique, great food and excellent service by staff! Thanks Ian!!

Great spot for a family lunch or coffee. Kids play space is a fun. Lovely sunny courtyard to have a rest in bey ween bushwalks. Would definately recommend if kids under 10.

We ordered a ham and cheese croissant, bacon and egg bun, mocha, cappuccino and the hot chocolate tasting panel. It was all amazing. Easy to order at the counter, the food and drinks came out in about 8 minutes, drinks about 2 minutes earlier than the food. Really yummy tomato sauce and caramelised onion sauces with the bun. Highly recommend the ginger hot chocolate, the chili hot chocolate has a decent bite to it.

Friendly staff helped in the little shopping section, they had sold out of the ginger that went into the hot chocolate but told me the brand, where to get it online, when their next order would come in and offered to show me the open bottle they had.

Highly recommend, great atmosphere, perfect for kids and couples. Loved it, thank you!

Service was smiley, happy and swift and decor was magical, but oh the Belgium Dark Chocolate and Ginger Scones: heaven! I feel like I'm at Santa's whimsical workshop. Love this place. Everything is gorgeous.

Mediocre coffee and expensive food. I've been here a few times and once had a leaky cup that I had to replace myself and another time the manager made me the wrong drink, didn't believe me that she got the order wrong and then made me the right one after I convinced her without an apology or anything. Bad customer service! It's a shame as some of the other staff are lovely. Last time I ever go there. 1q
