The Oriana, Orange

This was the last day we welcomed guests at our old reception, and in preparation for major refurbishment moved operations into a temporary demountable reception outside the main building. Exciting to have the big renovation project underway!

We're pleased to learn that Star Ratings Australia has officially upgraded the Oriana to 4 star. Stay tuned for the next upgrade, when we finish the upcoming refurbishment of public amenities!

Just on a year ago, Espen Harbitz & Ted Marr took over The Oriana, Orange. At that time, it was ranked by TripAdvisor as #11 out of 11 properties in Orange, New South Wales. A year later we are ranked, as of today, #4 out of 11. Thanks & congratulations to our management, staff and contractors for their hard work in upgrading the property and the services we provide. And thanks to our hotel and restaurant customers for their loyalty and support as we have all worked on the upgrades. There are more exciting changes coming this year which we know our customers will love, and we look forward to rising even further in the rankings!

We’re very pleased - even excited - that we have finally completed installation of brand new split system reverse cycle air conditioners in all the rooms at The Oriana, Orange. Gone are the rattly old window-mounted aircons, and gone are the old inefficient heaters. Every room can now be comfortable according to our guests’ preferences, whether in summer or winter

With summer approaching we’ve done a major refurbishment of the Oriana’s pool - resurfacing (including fixing of long-standing leaks!), repainting, new lights, new furniture and new plants. And that’s just the start: there’s going to be a lot more happening around our pool as the summer progresses

Really enjoyed the friendly service. Comfy bed and nice linen. Would stay again.

Comfortable bed and very quiet location.The room was large, clean and warm including the bathroom. All the usuals such as TV were supplied except for a microwave oven. Lovely shower. Very helpful staff - the room was even pre-heated. Reasonably priced dinner and breakfast choices were offered that sounded tasty but I wasn't up to it at the time. Swimming pool and plenty of parking.

Great family room, looked like it had been recently updated and was clean and well appointed. Complimentary water and friendly staff. Would have got 5 stars except couldn't get breakfast to the room and couldn't keep it really warm perhaps an issue with door seals or just a very cold winter weekend. Would stay here again for sure

The Delux Queen rooms are really nice with great furnishings and a comfy bed. The staff are also very nice and accommodating even giving us a complimentary champagne when we told them we were celebrating. Couldn't ask for more
