Creative ways to learn methods and techniques Silver and Metal Smithing with international Jewellery Design & Maker Thomas Frank. My various workshops cover all aspects of the art of jewellery making, suitable for both beginners and more experienced.

I am an artisan jeweller working from Byron Bay, Australia. My jewellery is handcrafted one-of-a-kind pieces or part of a limited edition collection. My zest for jewellery design first sparked 10 years ago – no matter how hard I looked I could not find the ring for a beloved friend. Knowing exactly what I was after and understanding what design would reflect her personality, I designed it myself and asked a jeweller, who is a good friend, to make it. This is when my passion for beautiful hand-made jewellery was born and I started making unique pieces by teaching myself as I went along.

My curiosity did not stop here and I advanced my skills at the Jewellery Design & Management International School in Singapore and with a Master Jeweller in Florence, Italy. I studied traditional silver smithing, metal clay modelling and digital jewellery design. Eventually, I wanted to pass on the art of making beautiful and handcrafted jewellery and started teaching metal smithing at JDMIS in Singapore.
I now provide various metal smithing workshops with the Hammer & Hand Jewellery Collective in Byron Bay, Australia.
