The lines from ‘In Flanders’ Field’ read:
‘We are the Dead, short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow’

It is ‘We Are The Dead’ intent to acknowledge each and every death of soldiers from the Gunnedah and District region. So we are going to have a small post on this page, and also on the Between the Crosses and Gunnedah Memories pages on the one hundredth anniversary of their passing. Some posts will have a photo, others will not, as we simply do not have images of all servicemen.
