A. B. Fabrications P /L was established on 2nd of January 1991 as a small business run from home. Throughout our 23 years of operation, we have grown substantially by making a well-known trusted name in the welding industry around the Canberra region.


We are locally owned and operated, and we understand the rules and regulations for Canberra and the surrounding areas. We are backed by some of Australia’s biggest supplier, Southern Steel, Blue Scope Steel, providing quality steel supplies.

We are found at 3 /9 Collie Street, Fyshwick where we have friendly staff to provide you with your enquires. Our showroom will provide you with designs for both balustrading, gates and stair cases. We also do light structural Steel and all types of metal work, including furniture and art work.

We provide obligation free quotes and advice on all welding services. All repairs, installations and services are carried out by our qualified staff.
