Our aim to provide healthy and beautiful living artworks to homes, offices, businesses and public spaces which are low maintenance and cost effective.

We provide a range of planted art and living 'glass-box' features. This includes: aquariums, ponds, terrariums, paludariums, ripariums, insectariums, orchidariums, suiseki stone arrangements, green walls, indoor /outdoor potted plant features, ikebana, bonsai, penjing, and other planted art-works. Be it classic or quirky, we can have something unique commissioned just for you or your business.

We can also provide all regular maintenance required for your living art, so all you need to do is feed your animals (if present). Maintenance services are also available for the private hobbyist on holiday.

Designer nature-scaping is included in all features, with modern, natural and Feng Shui styles available.

Additional services also include advice, troubleshooting and overhauls for existing features by re-scaping and stocking, and re-homing incompatible animals and plants or those which have grown too large for their existing enclosure.

Acumen Aquatics is also the supplier of exclusive FinSafe (TM pending) ceramic decor and silk plants. These are ideal and highly recommended for use with bettas (Siamese Fighting fish), fancy goldfish, and animals which are prone to injury on normal plastic decor.
