Afghan Students' Association in Australia (ASAA)

• To serve the interests of current and future Afghan students at the Australian universities so that they can fulfill their dreams for better higher education.

• To promote cooperation among the Afghan students at the Australian universities in academic area for understanding the opportunities and challenges.

• To raise awareness on opportunities in Afghanistan and how the Afghan students can play a vital role in rebuilding of the country, in particular those who are living in Australia.

• To raise awareness on dynamics of Afghanistan, in particular its culture.

• Help the young Afghans, who are living in Afghanistan to get access to the scholarships through lobbying in education institutions and providing them with information on education opportunities in Australia.

• Encourage young Afghans and their families, who are living in Australia, to give priority for investing on their education.

• To establish links with other Afghan and international students’ associations, as well as academic institutions in Australia and around the world for promoting academic exchanges.

• To maintain contact with the graduates of the Australian universities who return to Afghanistan through an alumni community of Afghan students.
