Anu Women In Leadership

ANU Women in Leadership is an ANUSA and PARSA joint initiative that aims to provide women-identifying* and non-binary students at the ANU and alumni with access to mentoring, talks and professional development workshops. At ANU Women in Leadership, we strongly believe in providing opportunities for all the participants to grow, learn and thrive. The initiative was set up by a group of ANU students in 2014 and since then our team of 8 directors have run multiple networking events, mental health and resume prep events. All of our events and networks are cross-disciplinary and provide women-identifying and non-binary students with a chance to interact first hand with the female leaders in various areas of expertise, to expand their knowledge and networks. The events we run hope to equip the attendees with the skills to advance themselves professionally, academically and personally. * ANU Women in Leadership is open to all those who identify as a woman and /or experience oppression as a result of being perceived by others as a woman including trans women and non-binary people who identify with the previous definition or find our community and services useful.
