Anzic-Iodp

The International Ocean Discovery Program (IODP) is a multidisciplinary, international marine research collaboration that, through monitoring, drilling, sampling and analysing ocean floor environments, seeks to answer fundamental questions about the Earth: its climate, deep life, geodynamics and geohazards. The IODP is a continuation of the world's longest running and most successful international geoscience research collaboration involving scientists from over 20 countries. Australia and New Zealand have been associate members of IODP for over a decade.
