I became a celebrant in 2012 shortly after getting married. When looking for a celebrant I struggled to find someone I really related to, and ended up writing my whole ceremony myself. It got me intrigued and I then started researching the reason behind marriages, the legal side, and of course the ceremony side of it. I fell in love with the role that ceremony plays in our lives, and the effect it has on your family and friends.

My husband Rob and I had a little girl in September 2013 and her name is Delila (like the song). Becoming a celebrant has allowed me to stay at home with her, while having an outlet to meet new people, and be stimulated by something not baby related!

I believe that your celebrant, and your ceremony, is supposed to 'fit'. My goal is to have you both happy with me, and have your guests say comments like 'wow, that was perfect for them"
