Blu Ginger

Two lunch specials - 5 small pieces of chicken on the butter chicken and not many more on the lamb korma. Taste was okay for butter chicken but the korma lamb was extremely dry and the sauce lacked spice and flavour. It was basically a plate of sauce. Garlic naan was adequate to mop up the excessive sauce. I would feel a bit embarrassed to send out so little substance from a kitchen and charge $20 for it. The search for decent Indian food in Canberra continues.

Reasonably priced, delicious food served relatively quickly by very friendly and professional staff. For such a high ceilinged open plan area the restaurant was surprisingly quiet. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Good Indian Restaurant with nice ambience. Taste is good. Specially Naan and Butter Chicken is good.

I have ordered Lamb Vindaloo and sheek kebab ,it was sensational.lamb was cooked well and tender.very good customer service .5 star from me:-)

Awesome food, best Indian weve had! Great service, no over the top artificial American style service that we experienced in other places in Canberra. The wine was awesome. Heaps of gluten free options. All round ten out of ten... we loved it.

Very busy place but the service was great. They got us a table outside and there was a bit of waiting but it was really worthed. We took a chance on the goat curry and it was the most amazing Indian dish we've ever had. The waitress was very attentive and never lost her smile. Highly recommended.

Ambience was nice, waiters all polite and smiling but the food topped it all. The best Indian I've had in a long time. Visited the restaurant on our trip to Canberra ( from Sydney). The serving size has been so generous unlike most Indian restaurants. We had Kashmiri chicken kofta and pumpkin almond lamb curry with naan. Will highly recommend to anyone. They did forget one entreè from the order but did apologize and served promptly.

Blu Ginger is always good. I'm not an expert in Indian cuisine, but I really like to food here.

Good Indian food.. has external seating as well.. service is decent and is close to the city centre
