Booked blue cleaning group for an end of lease clean.

Once the cleaner got there the extra charge cost came through for the balcony and fridge. No dramas - paid this even though an end of lease clean should include the whole property regardless. Not the issue.

Real estate inspected the property the next day / the carpet was barely cleaned to start with and there was over a handful of areas still dirty. The small table wasn’t even moved to clean under it (under 5kg table) let alone the rest of the furniture including the skirting boards.Had them back the next few days - they then took two days to complete a full clean however it was not cleaned. The real estate then sent me more photos of simple things like the toilet still stained and tools left behind. The cleaner took off with the keys and the group reported the job done.

Let’s see how we go for a refund as I’ll have to book another cleaner as they didn’t do the job and it looks like it’s a job they won’t be able to do.

We hired the Blue Cleaning Group to perform a Spring Clean of our house prior to us moving in. We knew there was a lot to clean in the house in a 4-hour timeframe, so upon arrival asked the cleaner to focus on the kitchen and bathrooms as we were removing the carpet out of all of the bedrooms and lounge so cleaning those rooms wasn’t required. We also had no furniture in the house and brand new appliances so thought that this would allow the cleaners a greater amount of time to focus on the other services listed in their ‘Spring Clean Checklist’.

The 4 hours was actually split between 2 cleaners (the 2 cleaners were only there for 2 hours in total), which we did not feel was made very clear to us at the time of booking. Further to this, in the 2 hours the cleaners were there, we did not feel that they provided a satisfactory job. Upon completion of the two hours, they informed us that they had concentrated on the kitchen (including the oven) and bathrooms as we had instructed. I have attached some images from those rooms to show the cleaning job we received. In them you can see that both toilets did not look like they had been cleaned at all, the shower had not been rinsed properly, the kitchen bench top had dirty water left on it and a tray that was in the oven (*it was up against another one*) had not been cleaned at all.

We have given Blue Cleaning Group an extra star as after calling them and telling them we were unsatisfied, they did discount $65 off the total cost, however we are still unclear as to what the $165 we did pay actually went towards.

Very satisfied with blue cleaners job on our 5 bedroom end of lease clean. One person (!) did the whole thing and we thought it was great value (and output) for money. I hope he is looked after (the cleaner) as he did an amazing job. Thank you!
