Are you looking for a fun and educational music class for your child?
Bopping Bilbies is a small Canberra business offering music classes for children aged 6 months and up. Classes feature a mix of singing, instruments, interactive rhythm games and dance.
I have been singing and dancing as long as I can remember, and drumming for 15 years. I have performed in a number of music groups and dance ensembles and I started teaching percussion and dance to children and adults in 2000.
As mum to twin toddlers, I enjoy the challenge of keeping children engaged and enthusiastic about music. I bring a healthy dose of silliness to my classes, and believe that the best learning happens naturally through play and laughter. I aim to instil a love of music and I like to write new songs and develop new games to keep classes fresh and entertaining.
Classes are taught in my home in Watson, but I may be able to accommodate requests for additional classes in other locations, for community groups, preschools and childcare centres upon request. What about a Bopping Bilbies birthday party?!
I have a current Working with Vulnerable People Check, valid until 2017, and am fully insured.
