Brodburger

Perfect location near lake and heaps of parking. Plenty of menu choices. Had a beef burger which was big enough for dinner and great customer service.

Amazing burgers but terrible service. Arrived at 11:30am on a Thursday with a group of 4 people, one 2 year old and a baby. The restaurant had only one person in it. But the wait for a burger was over 1 hour!
It seems online orders take preference to any orders placed in the restaurant. Left and went to 'Beef & Barley'. Come on Brodburger, sort it out!

Great burger. Excellent side orders. On the other hand, the waiting times are shocking. Arrived at 1855 only to be told a 55min wait for our orders. Limited inside seating, so half the waiting time was spent standing, looking for a vacant seat.
Management would be well advised to work out these issues..

Yummy burgers. Good portions. The onion rings are very very good too. Great place to take the family with kids. They have space for the kids to run around and some games for them to play with.

Iconic burger bar. Get there very early if you want a table (or hope you get lucky). Great burgers. Chips are a bit so-so

My go-to burger spot. Good portions, great quality burgers and decent value. However chips can sometimes be very soggy.

I wish I could give 4.5/5 stars. The food is excellent, the venue is superb, and the staff are all very friendly. The only negative thing I have to say is the wait times when it gets busy. I suppose you could say they're a victim of their success, as they don't handle peak business very well. I think I've had like a 2 hour wait time during a very busy day. But I was glad to wait, it gave me a chance to explore the local sights, and at the end I got to dig into the best burger restaurant in the southern hemisphere.

Deluxe burger both meat patties were uncooked, when staff were informed of this their answer: we always serve them like that!!!! Would you like some chips instead? 1hour wait for a $22 uncooked burger.... No recommendation from me other than to steer clear of this place...

I have been here four times, but only managed to eat once as the wait time is always over an hour from 1200 on. Fourth time ordered ahead.

I had the lamb burger and it was very good, which made me happy because it is hard to get a good lamb burger around Canberra.

Would revisit but plan ahead or be prepared to wait. Not their fault just popular.

I love Brodburger. Have been visiting them since they were a red caravan. I recommend everyone that comes to Canberra to go and try a one.

The only let down are the chips. They're usually mildly warm and soggy. Only a minor nitpick as you should just visit for the burgers.

Amazing burgers just make sure you phone up and order ahead! Otherwise be prepared to wait up to 45 minutes for your food. Great vegetarian burger with haloumi cheese. A Canberra institution and must do for visitors.

Brod's burgers are delicious but the wait is frequently outrageously long, so maybe order online in advance.
You can't go past the standard BrodBurger. But don't over order on the chips because they are pretty ordinary...

Love Brod. I've been eating BrodBurgers since it was a truck roaming the streets of Canberra. Love coming here whenever I'm in town for work. Always friendly staff and the burgers are the stuff you write home about. Next level.
