Cafe Ritrovo (Permanently Closed)

I wish I had read the reviews here before I visited Cafe Retrovo. I would have avoided a tremendous mistake. I ordered the hamburger, my wife ordered the rice paper rolls. The hamburger bun was stale, the meat insipid and the salad uninspiring. The chips accompanying the dish were dry and tasteless. We don't have any negative comments about the rice paper rolls because they were not delivered until after I had finished my meal and demanded a refund because my wife's meal had not been served. The refund was only given after my repeated insistence.

For drinks, I ordered the chocolate milkshake and my wife ordered the skinny hot chocolate. Both drinks were ordinary and did not justify the price.

Worst meal I have every gotten. When I took the food back to the counter to tell them that the quiche was not eatable, they said 'ok' and walked away. No offer of refund or replacement food item. Coffee was poor quality. I would NEVER eat here again and I tell my friends about my poor treatment. With all of the other cafes to choose from, I am not sure why they are not more customer friendly or have better service and food. Eat somewhere else!
