By far the worst hotel in Canberra!!!

Firstly, No WiFi, is this really 21st Century?

Where to start?
Basic, 25 thread count bedding.
Sub-par shared bathroom, available only on special request.
Room service is less than desirable.

The staff are made to wear a dreary uniform.
The valet didnt park my car.
The concierge was heavy handed with our luggage and seemed insulted when I offered to tip for better service.

The next morning, my grandmother and I, appalled by the previous night's service, demanded an apology. This was largely ignored, shocking customer service.

When continued to complain to the manager, however, all they were willing to offer was another night's free accommodation. Needless to say, we were not interested.

However.. surprisingly pet friendly.

1 star: May stay again next St Patrick's Day.

Sorry for the bad choice on your 108th birthday Grandma, there is always next year...maybe.

Police Officer was rude, uncaring and very unhelpful when ringing about the welfare of my son.

Great for seeing a Justice of the Peace.

Are we invisible?

My son and I waited at the "City District Police Station" for a long time without attention from any officer. 30 minutes later, A young couple stepped into the station and a policewoman went out straight away and asked if they needed help. The policewoman was in and out the office and then took money from the couple. During this time, she didn't look at us for a second but we hoped we would have a chance later on.

Unfortunately, we were wrong. She didn’t get out again. We left when realised that she didn't go out for us but for the couple. She ignored us even we were 1 meter far from her. Where should we go for help when we need? Is this discrimination?

Treat us fairly and equitably as per the Code of Conduct for APS. Even though we look different to you but we contribute to Australia as much as you do.

There are some absolute morons working in this precinct. I remember one night I arrived to pick up my ID which was with my partner at the time (she was being questioned inside for whatever reason). I left without incident, yet later on in Civic I was confronted by the same officer who had given me the ID and a bunch of his mates - and he accused me of trying to pick a fight with him back at the station! He even claimed that I had made some offensive, "provocative" remark as I walked out the door! What a joke! And they all had these frat boy smirks on their faces, it was so obvious they were trying to rile me up so they could detain me. Fortunately, I'm not that stupid.
