We've already seen a few Grammarians on the screen already this year (Samara Weaving and Sybilla Budd), so make you add this upcoming Australian film on your 'must see' list!

Every year CGGS participates in the Anglicare NSW South, NSW West & ACT Winter Pantry Appeal project as a whole school to donate cans of food to Anglicare to be shared amongst the wider Canberra community. Well done to the Junior School and the ELC who donated a combined total of 2,250 cans 🥫! Find out more: bit.ly/cggsCAN

Earlier this term all Year 8 students had a wonderful day full of languages at Yhuuramulum and the Senior School Campus! The girls spent the day participating in a wide range of cultural and linguistic activities related to languages - with some assistance from our Senior School students. As part of our Defence Mentor Program at CGGS, we held a Defence Mentor Retreat for nine Year 7 and 8 students and their Year 11 mentors. The activities were student-led, and very beneficial to all year levels. Find out more our Defence Mentor Retreat: bit.ly/cggsDMR

Our Year 9 Ad Astra students are onto something! A project they are working on has lead to a wonderful relationship with the Walter Burley Griffin Society Canberra Chapter and we are excited to announce this event which will shed more light on the life and times of Marion Mahony Griffin.
Current parents, students, staff and alumni are able to attend the event free of charge but bookings are essential.

Creative Minds Day is a House-based competition in the Senior School that focuses on ‘non-sporty’ activities! For the first time we had Year 6 students join us - a fabulous opportunity for them to learn more about the campus they will call home next year while also bonding with students who will show them the ropes in years to come. @ Canberra Girls Grammar School

Earlier this month, our Sapphire and Bandicoot Concert Bands journeyed to Young Public School to perform and rekindle their musical relationship. The tour allowed our students to normalise their band experience, provide different perspective, build musical skills and strengthen social ties within the band program.
