Canberra Helicopters have begun helicopter operations in the ACT from December 2014.

The operations in Canberra currently involves
1. 2 xAS350 Squirrel, 6 place Turbine helicopter
2. 2 x Robinson R44, 3 place air conditioned helicopter
3. Jet Ranger, 4 Place
4. EC 120
6. EC 130

The helicopters can perform a range of tasks but are not limited to;
• Charter
• Aerial Cinematography
• Fire Fighting
• Aerial sling operations
• Scenic flights
• Power line and pipeline patrol

Helicopters are currently on the NSW (NAFC) Fire call when needed register and can be utilised by all governments departments.
