Canberra Nature School

CNS is a secular, independent, community-based primary school, offering an alternative approach to K-6 schooling in the ACT. At CNS, the Australian Curriculum is lived and explored through a rich mix of the arts, hands-on experiences, local excursions, and nature expeditions, to cultivate the students' innate skills and abilities to develop resilience, creativity, and confidence. Students at CNS are encouraged to take calculated risks in their learning, and in their play, by exploring the natural environment and the abundance of educational and social opportunities offered in thelocal community. Canberra Nature School celebrates the natural changes in seasons with special festivals, incorporating music, art, and storytelling.
